The Electromagnetic Water Flowmeter (also known as a Magnetic
Flowmeter) is a highly accurate and reliable instrument used for measuring
the flow rate of conductive liquids such as water, wastewater, slurries, and
chemicals. It operates on Faradays Law of Electromagnetic Induction,
where a voltage is generated as the conductive liquid flows through a magnetic
field inside the meter body.
This flowmeter provides non-intrusive, obstruction-free
measurement with no moving parts, ensuring long-term stability and
minimal maintenance. It is suitable for industrial, municipal, and irrigation
applications, offering precise flow readings even in the presence of suspended
solids or impurities.
Key Features:
No moving parts maintenance-free operation
Highly accurate measurement (0.5% of reading or better)
Suitable for all conductive liquids (minimum conductivity 20
S/cm)
Wide size range DN10 to DN1000 or higher
Bidirectional flow measurement
420 mA, RS485 (Modbus), and pulse outputs
Clear LCD / LED display showing flow rate and total flow
Compact or remote-type transmitter (with cable up to 20 m)
Rugged, weatherproof design (IP65 / IP68)
Optional PTFE or rubber lining for chemical compatibility
Customizable flange connections (ANSI, DIN, JIS)
